Web Developer

The opportunity

Working as part of the digital development team the role’s central work involves building and enhancing the University's core digital channels. These include website, student portfolio web app, student app.

The role will also work alongside Content and UX teams on improving UAL’s digital platforms by building and maintaining templates and functionality through our content management systems.

You will support the development work streams across UAL’s digital estate and act as a subject matter expert supporting the digital development manager. You will be working with many teams across the organisation to improve our audiences’ digital experiences.

About you

As a Web Developer, you will have proven experience of delivering solutions on a variety of digital platforms. You will have a detailed knowledge of developing web applications using PHP, JavaScript or other languages.

You will be a team player and have experience and confidence in explaining technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders of all levels across the university.

Your expertise will be invaluable in helping to transform our digital platforms so they are compelling for key user groups: prospective students, current students and staff, researchers, alumni and businesses.
