The opportunity

As a PA, your primary role is to provide first-class confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Dean. In this varied role however you’ll also help School Programme Directors and / or Line Managers as needed, coordinating work related meetings and projects of the School as well as the Dean’s office.

Pivotal to the smooth running of the office, you’ll plan and prioritise workloads, organise senior staff meetings, manage diaries, help with research activities, maintain records on attendance / sickness etc., coordinate all necessary communications and retrieve information as required. In fact, you’ll help in whatever way is needed to optimise efficiency and output.

About you

Owing to the nature of the work, we’ll need you to be of ‘A’ level standard and already have exceptional office and administrative experience. Equally your report writing skills and presentation formatting skills need to be impressive. Beyond that, you must be able to treat information confidentially, be highly organised, have established IT skills and be able to operate on your own initiative, whilst happily working as part of a team.  A willingness to help, a positive approach and efficiency is essential. If you have any queries about this role, you can contact the LCF Staffing Team at vacancies@fashion.arts.ac.uk
