The opportunity

This is a unique and varied role and an excellent opportunity for someone able to work independently and as a valuable member of the team. Working within the Residential Operations Team within Accommodation Services; you will deliver, and assist in the delivery of services for students living in UAL Halls of Residence. We will expect you to work with the Operations Team, the central Accommodation Team, the Finance Team, the Social Programme and with the Marketing & Communications Team as well as with our Partners. You will deputise for the hall managers in their absence, and will develop an in depth knowledge of student accommodation software and other systems. Occasionally you will work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and improve the Accommodation Services web pages and you will participate in Open Days, Welcome Weekends and other marketing events to disseminate information or to give specialist talks. 

About you

We are looking for someone who naturally wants to help others and is therefore customer services orientated with a professional, methodical yet friendly approach. The ideal candidate wants to learn our business, policies and processes, and seeks to develop themselves in the role, and to offer services which enhance the student experience in halls of residence. Trained to degree level or equivalent, you will have a background in hospitality, customer services or administration who has prior experience of working independently.
