The opportunity

Working as part of the Marketing and Communications department across Camberwell, Chelsea, and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts you’ll join the team that ensures the colleges meet student recruitment targets. Your main role will be to research, create and publish high quality, engaging marketing content through multiple channels – social media, website, and for digital marketing campaigns in liaison with the Student Marketing Managers and Communications Manager: Content.

You’ll also represent the colleges at student recruitment events in person and online, supporting prospective students and their influencers with accurate information about the courses, the colleges and life as a student at UAL.

About you

You’ll have enthusiasm for arts education and experience of being part of a student recruitment marketing team or have an arts marketing background. You’ll have worked on social media content creation and scheduling with a marketing purpose, particularly Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. This will include researching, relationship building, writing, and photography. You’ll understand and be able to use social media analytics to measure work outputs. You’ll be comfortable with and have experience of talking confidently and knowledgeably to groups of people. You’ll have appropriate levels of IT skills to enable best use of available information and communications and to help prioritise and diary manage.

University of the Arts London (UAL) is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all students, staff and visitors.

UAL recognises its responsibility to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults by ensuring that there are appropriate arrangements in place to provide a safe and secure environment and to deal with issues concerned with suspected or reported abuse. If your role requires you to work with children, young people and vulnerable adults, as part of our safer recruitment practice, you will be required to apply for and receive a satisfactory enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service. The cost of this check is met by the University. Further information is available on the government website.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on Friday 16/06/2023.
