The opportunity

The Head of Academic Support will be responsible for managing and developing high quality academic support within the College to enable all students to become confident independent learners and to fulfil their academic potential, from FE through to PhD level. This role focuses primarily on study support learning development that is related to the curriculum of fashion and design.

You will ensure academic support strategies are implemented consistently in line with the University’s Learning and Teaching, Equality and Diversity, Widening Participation and Internationalisation Strategies.

About you

The post holder will have up-to-date knowledge, expertise and experience in academic support and learning development and an understanding of the subject disciplines taught at London College of Fashion. A first degree and recognised teaching qualification is essential. You must have experience of Art and Design education within Higher Education and significant experience of managing staff and learning development.
