The opportunity

Are you passionate about communications and about the creative arts? If so, we are recruiting a Communications Executive to join our globally renowned University.

We are looking for an exceptional communicator to join our dynamic virtual team, taking the lead for internal communications at London College of Communication (LCC). Working with colleagues at the college, the wider university and the Students’ Union, you will deliver joined-up, proactive and comprehensive internal communications to staff and students at LCC and across UAL. This will include delivering and maintaining effective communications through a variety of channels; telling compelling stories; leading on key project work; promoting college and university-wide initiatives, change communications and helping to plan and deliver a programme of activities and events.

About you

You will be an organised, enthusiastic and a hard-working team player who has had previous experience in a similar role. You will be a first-class communicator who is able to create great relationships with people at all levels. You’ll be digitally savvy and have exceptional writing skills as well as excellent IT skills, including design software. You will have experience of delivering coordinated communications to a wide audience. Previous experience of working in a university would be an advantage but is not essential for the right candidate. And it goes without saying you’ll be passionate about internal communications and about the creative arts.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive salary and pension plus a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available.

If you have any questions regarding the role please contact: oearecruitment@arts.ac.uk or 0207 514 6685

Please note that CVs submitted without a formal application form will not be accepted for consideration.
