The opportunity

As part of the Internal and External Relations department (IER), the Events Officer role will play a pivotal role supporting the Events team, in the planning and execution of the College events provision. You will work on a series of planned events both large and small and ensuring their efficiency.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the Events team are supported and equipped with the necessary information to carry out their roles effectively, helping create synergy between the Events Team, working parties and senior staff across the College in relation to events.

Please note you may be asked on occasion to work evenings.

About you

Previous event planning experience is essential as is significant administrative experience. You will be a highly organised team player with the ability to use initiative or creativity to resolve problems.
