The opportunity

The Fashion Innovation Agency (FIA) works with emerging technologies to help designers and brands change the way they make, sell or show their collections. The FIA is closing the gap between these industries through its understanding of the opportunities and challenges that exist. We are on a mission to rewire the industry and build truly digital designer businesses. Through our extensive network, the team initiates and facilitates partnerships to deliver projects that demonstrate use cases for emerging technologies that innovate current industry practice. The FIA is part of London College of Fashion, (LCF) and sits within the Business and Innovation unit. The FIA’s work is a fundamental part of LCF’s vision for Knowledge Exchange. It shares the findings of its projects with students and academic staff alike, shaping their understanding of the latest advancements in relevant technology. Our efforts strengthen LCF’s reputation as a leader within the Fashion-Technology sector.

This role is to provide administrative and finance support to the FIA team to help ensure the successful delivery of the projects to clients and ensure that UAL processes and protocols are adhered to. As the FIA and enterprise teams also support externally funded projects there is a requirement for accurate and diligent record keeping and reporting, as well as adherence to financial procedures in line with external funders’ requirements.
