We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious academic practitioner/ researcher to join the BA Fashion course team to deliver the 1st year of our unique and highly successful course. As 1st year Leader you will provide a highly stimulating and nurturing environment for 1st year students and colleagues alike. You will be responsible for assuring the academic standards of the 1st year and its delivery through your academic leadership and the effective management of resources. You will work along-side other Stage 1 Leaders and have a knowledge and experience in Fashion Print and/or Fashion Knit Design.
You will develop the vision and strategic thinking of the 1st year to shape the design, development and future of the BA Fashion curriculum and play a significant role in the BA Fashion Course team.
As an innovative and conscious fashion designer / researcher and academic, you’ll be regarded as a leading authority within your own area. As an experienced, creative and highly motivated academic, with an inventive approach to the enlivenment of students’ learning experience and high aspirations for their achievement, you’ll be able to take up the challenges of enabling diverse student cohorts to explore the discipline of Fashion at Central Saint Martins, and foster new approaches to design, teaching, knowledge exchange and research. Previous experience of teaching on a Fashion undergraduate degree course is essential.
