The opportunity

Working directly with the Material and Spatial Practices courses in the Design School at Camberwell and Chelsea Colleges of Arts, you will be able to demonstrate experience of design and creative fabrication work.  You will work alongside academic colleagues in designing and managing the technical teaching to support student learning and project work. Together as a course team you will help develop the long term course ambitions and professional practice.  

About you

We are looking for a pro-active, collaborative individual who can demonstrate an enthusiastic aptitude for design and making. 

You will be able to guide and inspire a team of specialist technicians by being a proactive and enabling line manager who will continually aspire to the development of yourself and the team you manage.

You will have a balanced knowledge of physical and digital making and delivering practical and digital design skills as well as knowledge of the potentials of virtual learning environments for online/remote learning.
