The opportunity

In this key role, you will be part of a Fashion Programme team teaching fashion theory to students and the relation to their practice. As well as providing both academic and pastoral support to students, you will help to develop the curriculum, carry out assessments and manage units.

You will have particular responsibility for coordinating units across the Fashion Programme; a task which involves liaising with the Course Leaders and the Cultural and Historical Studies team. There will also be the opportunity to continue your research on the subject and contribute to a fast-paced and forward-thinking team.

If you have any queries you may contact the LCF Staffing Team, email: vacancies@fashion.arts.ac.uk, phone: 07730 900321.

About you

With a relevant degree and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent), you will be a talented teacher who has taught Fashion-related theory and practice at Higher Education level before. You will have experience of covering unit management and cluster co-ordination.

You will also be comfortable liaising with external stakeholders and working as part of a team; sharing your knowledge and expertise. You will be expected to continue your research, while inspiring our students and supporting our links with industry and professional practice.
