Partnerships Manager

The opportunity

The Partnerships Manager role is responsible for developing income from corporate partners.  The post holder will seek and secure new income, provide high quality stewardship and develop new opportunities to grow existing relationships.  The Partnerships Manager will be a vital member of an ambitious Development Team.  Working closely with the Head of Partnerships, this role will develop and advance philanthropic donations and other financial support to support UAL's strategic priorities. 

About you

The post holder will be responsible for corporate fundraising from companies to advance UAL's strategic aims.  This includes generating philanthropic income for University buildings and facilities, academic research, College/course specific partnerships as well as support for students during their time at College.  Alongside new business development, this role will take responsibility for the stewardship programme to advance UAL's existing corporate supporters to deliver long-term, high-value strategic partnerships.  The Partnerships Manager will also play a key role in prospect research, proposal development, new business pitches and contract negotiations.

The successful candidate will have significant understanding of corporate fundraising.  Demonstrable experience of fundraising including face-to-face cultivation, 'making the ask' and closing gifts is also required.  Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills are essential.
