The opportunity

Under the guidance of the Market Research and Insights Executive, and colleagues within UAL’s Prospective Student Engagement team, the postholder will administer the generation of prospective student contact lists to support email marketing activities associated with student marketing and recruitment for UAL centrally, and on behalf of its Colleges and Institutes. 

The postholder will also support the delivery of mass email communications to our applicants undertaken by UAL’s Prospective Engagement team. 

The postholder will analyse and interpret performance data for the delivered mass email communications to inform the development of future activities.

The role is based at our High Holborn office (London). Requests to work remotely from within the UK will be considered. It is expected the postholder will attend our High Holborn site at least once a month, potentially more frequently if a specific task requires it.

About you

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in any subject with a strong ability to work independently from briefs.

You will have experience working or volunteering in an administration position that has included administrative tasks and/or data processing.

The role requires an intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including functions for pivot tables, index match formulas etc.

Evidence of being able to bring advanced Excel skills to the team will be highly sought after, as will the ability to use initiative and creativity to resolve problems.

Awareness of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how it impacts on email marketing activities is desirable.

Experience of working in the higher education sector is also desirable.

You will have proven experience of a meticulous approach to administration, as well as the ability to manipulate high volume and complex data sets.

The ability to interpret and present analytical information and statistics, for example those related to email marketing performance is required.
