The Presessional Administrator will support the Presessional and EPIC Senior Administrator in the day to day administration of the programme and will assist the Language Centre Student Liaison and Welfare Manager to support students during their courses.

Duties will include enquiry handling and communications, giving guidance on UKVI documentation, data entry, record-keeping and ensuring welfare and safeguarding procedures are followed. You will be a member of the Language Centre student support team and will report to the Presessional and EPIC Senior Administrator.   

University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.

The Language Centre is positioned centrally within University Services. It delivers language provision, events, resources and staff development in support of the international student experience and also offers a range of short courses open to an external audience.  

The Presessional Programme and Exam Preparation Intensive Courses (EPIC) attract around 680 students a year. Most courses take place in the summer but with extensions at other times of the year. Courses help students reach the required level of English for their University of the Arts London foundation and degree studies.

You will have experience of working with international students in higher or further education, preferably including welfare and UKVI information. You are a good communicator and team player and are committed to building and maintaining positive relationships with students and clients.

You have strong IT skills and are able to plan and prioritise your work to meet objectives on time. You are able to use your initiative or creativity to resolve problems.
