The opportunity

In this key role, you will be responsible for the academic leadership of the BA (Hons) Creative Direction for Fashion course, including the day to day management staff and all areas of learning, teaching and assessment of students as well as resources allocated. You will contribute to, and where appropriate, lead on the process of course development, modifications, major changes, validation and review by the University, external agencies and professional bodies with the Programme Director and Dean.

This undergraduate course prepares graduates for design and design leadership roles in fashion communication and related creative sectors. It provides skills and knowledge required at all levels of design so that graduates can excel as communication designers, art directors and ultimately creative directors in a variety of fashion-related contexts. Students ground their practice in critical understanding of historical and contemporary developments in the production and consumption of art, design and fashion media.
