The opportunity

As an international destination for many of the world’s creative and talented students it is vital we meet our legal requirements on all matters related to immigration. To support this, we are seeking an Immigration Compliance Administrator with an understanding of UK immigration to join our small and busy immigration compliance team. If you enjoy working in a busy environment where process, policy and compliance are key, this an excellent opportunity to further expand your skills, knowledge, and expertise.

As an Immigration Compliance Administrator, you will be a key point of contact for immigration compliance matters, offering guidance and administrative support for Academic Enterprise – a successful and growing department covering UAL Short Courses Ltd, Academic Enterprise International (English language preparation courses and Study Abroad) and UAL Arts Temps Ltd which is recruitment service finding employment for UAL students and graduates. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive immigration related administrative processes across different Academic Enterprise departments, ensuring that all immigration compliance activity is undertaken in accordance with internal procedures and adhering to the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) compliance requirements.

You will work collaboratively with administrative colleagues across Academic Enterprise and with the Immigration Compliance Operations Manager to ensure that effective and efficient immigration compliance processes are in place, in line with the University policy, guidance, and procedures.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual with effective and strong communication and IT skills.

This is a fast-paced role, and you will be comfortable in balancing competing priorities across multiple tasks. You will have experience in working collaboratively in a team and where appropriate across or with different professional groups and building and maintaining positive relationships. While previous experience and understanding of the UK’s immigration system, and current UKVI policy relating to international students is required, you will be given everything you need to develop this expertise and use it in this role.

Please apply early as the application closing date maybe held earlier should sufficient applications be received.

If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Twinkle Brahmbhatt, Senior Resourcing Adviser via email at RKEEstaffrecruitment@arts.ac.uk.
