The opportunity

London College of Fashion have been nurturing creative talent for over a century. To ensure this continues we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital and International Marketing Strategy specialist to support the delivery of our dynamic Strategic Fashion Marketing course. The MA Strategic Fashion Marketing course at London College of Fashion is for students aspiring to enter a career in fashion marketing. As a Lecturer on this academically rigorous course, you will play a key role equipping students with the knowledge, skills and capabilities demanded by fashion brands operating in an increasingly competitive, complex and unpredictable global environment. You will undertake a teaching programme that provides academic and pastoral support to students, exploring and examining marketing strategy and operations, internationalisation, brand management and consumer insights. Your wider remit will also cover unit management, supporting course leaders in the planning and development of the curriculum and contributing to research in fashion marketing and branding. The role will also include teaching across the Fashion Business School portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

About you

You will need to be a qualified teacher/lecturer with experience teaching Digital and International Marketing Strategy in a higher education environment at Level 6 / final year or Level 7. Ideally you will also have extensive marketing experience within the fashion industry.

You will undertake session planning, teaching delivery and assessment, unit management, curriculum development and research in Fashion Marketing & Branding. This key role calls more than just expertise; we expect you to inspire and excite our students, applying your research-led teaching and industry relevant fashion marketing experience. A relevant postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
