You will also be required to act as an advocate for the course and the College, working closely with our external partners which specifically include the research institute at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the anthropology department at University College London.

The role takes responsibility for the development and promotion of the course and across the curriculum in keeping with the College’s commitments to social justice, diverse and inclusive learning environments, and sustainability.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will need to be an academic with an extensive research background in fashion and /or anthropology, or other related areas of study. You will be a specialist with proven experience and extensive knowledge of fashion cultures and histories, with skills in ethnographic, anthropological or object based research and analysis.

You will also have knowledge and experience of curriculum development and employability practice and innovation. Equally important will be your fluency in crafting appropriate communications for our diverse community and fostering an environment that makes our college inclusive.
