The opportunity

We are looking for someone to play a key role in the implementation and development of a newly procured digital asset management and preservation system at University of the Arts London. The role sits within Library Services, focussing on digital archives and special collections, with overall Project Management and Business Analysis provided by UAL IT Services.   

About you

You will have the drive, technical and communication skills to lead the implementation of a new system in a complex environment, with multiple stakeholders, as well as substantial knowledge and experience of trends and issues associated with digital collections and services, in an academic or heritage sector.

You will have experience and knowledge of working with digital collections, digital asset management and preservation systems and awareness of leading edge developments in this area.   Your technical skills will include knowledge and experience of web and application development technologies (Java, APIs and JSON) as well as development pro cesses (Agile, configuration, customisation, open source development and UX design)

This is an opportunity for an individual to play a leading role in a significant project to implement Digital Archives & Collections at UAL.
