The opportunity

To lead operations of the Systems and Records teams to deliver a high quality and customer focused technical support services under Academic Registry, and oversee the quality of data across the student records, timetabling and associated systems.

The post-holder will be required to oversee the data quality and collection processes, delivery of internal reporting as well as overseeing the production of student related statutory returns is carried out on time with the primary focus being on returns for the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and Office for Students (OfS, formerly HEFCE).

The role will monitor and review a range of ‘business as usual’ registry processes, with a focus on improving the efficiency and accuracy by developing new ways of working and continuous improvement initiatives. 

About you

An experienced operational manager with a background in Registry Services and/or Student Systems to motivate and lead a team to deliver a high performing and customer focused service to staff and students and manage university wide operational activities.

You will have an interest in improving processes, data quality and systems and communicate effectively to a diverse audience to drive forward new initiatives and ways of working.
