The opportunity

This role demands highly specialist skills to work within the Print and Type team and will predominantly support courses within the Design School. Day to day duties will include maintaining presses, type and consumables within the Letterpress Workshop. The successful applicant will be expected to lead student inductions and workshops in Letterpress techniques such as type setting, proofing, printing and redistribution of type. The role will also be expected to support a range of student activity outside formal group instruction; this may include one to one support and overseeing negotiated access. The applicant will also be expected to support the other departments within the Print & Type strand.

About you
