Associate Lecturer – BA (Hons) User Experience Design

The opportunity

Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully.

You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Director and Course Leader.

About you

We currently looking for Associate Lecturers in User Experience Design or related disciplines to teach on BA (Hons) User Experience Design. We are keen to hear from applicants with experience producing engaging digital experiences, products and services in a professional, academic or independent capacity.

The ideal candidates will have worked or are currently working in a creative industries role that involves producing design outputs as part of a comprehensive process that includes research, design, development and testing. You will have a good understanding of UX production processes and be proficient in and willing to teach appropriate practices and methods. We are looking for someone who has a strong portfolio of digital design work but may also evidence interface prototypes, animation, interaction design, motion graphics, etc.

Previous teaching experience at higher education or on professional courses is not essential but desirable. A commitment to teaching and learning in higher education is essential.
