The opportunity

In this role you’ll provide professional technical expertise, guidance and advice in the Printmaking Workshop and contribute to the delivery of academic learning activities within Wimbledon College of Arts.  Key to this role will be your ability to provide technical input in order to help students reach their creative intentions.  As a Specialist Technician you’ll provide support for student learning, informal and formal training and instruction.  You’ll help students develop proficiency with highly specialist techniques, production methods and technology related to the use of Print, Printmaking and related Digital Media within art and design practice. 

About you

You’ll have a relevant art and design qualification or equivalent and an in-depth knowledge and experience of working with a wide range of printmaking techniques.

Confident in conveying information of a complex, conceptual and specialist nature and adapting communication and media to suit the audience.  You’ll be a creative individual who can lead a team effectively as well as work collaboratively in a team.
