The opportunity

You’ll provide professional technical expertise, guidance and advice in the Metal workshop and contribute to the delivery of academic learning activities within Chelsea College of Arts.

You'll have knowledge or experience of a wide range of metal fabrication techniques and construction and preferably you will have some experience of working within a HE educational context.

You’ll also provide support for student learning, informal and formal training and instruction, and the development of proficiency with highly specialist techniques, production methods and technology related to fine art and design practice.

 

About you

You’ll have a relevant art and design qualification or equivalent and an in depth knowledge and experience of working with a wide range of metal working. One or more specialisms in metal work would also be advantageous.

Confident in conveying information of a complex, conceptual and specialist nature and adapting communication and media to suit the audience.  You’ll be a creative individual who can lead a team effectively as well as work collaboratively in a team.
