The opportunity

London College of Fashion (LCF) seeks a proven administrator to provide a key support function for the delivery and reporting of Knowledge Exchange activity across the college.

Knowledge Exchange is one of three priority areas, along with teaching and research, in the academic mission of University Arts London (UAL). Through Knowledge Exchange, we engage with the wider world in collaborative activities to achieve creative impact on the fashion industry and enrich the student experience.

As a Knowledge Exchange Administrator, your remit will include:

  • Leading on administrative processes for LCF’s internal and external Knowledge Exchange reporting;
  • Assisting with the planning and implementation of Enterprise Knowledge Exchange activities, including preparing Power Point presentations, and supporting events and workshops for students, alumni and external businesses;
  • Providing support for the development of new projects through researching funding opportunities and contributing to the development of funding bids by coordinating contributions from staff and external university and industry partners;
  • Providing administrative support, including project tracking and reporting, keeping up to date filing systems and preparing relevant project information as and when required.

About you

You will offer extensive administrative experience, including providing support across large and varied teams, preferably within a Higher Education Institute.  You will have knowledge of conducting both primary and secondary research and experience of using the Internet as a source for searching for and gathering relevant research information. Demonstrable experience of planning and preparation of small-medium scale events is also required.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, an attractive pension scheme and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity. Relocation assistance is available. If you have any queries about this role, you may contact the LCF Staffing Team at vacancies@fashion.arts.ac.uk.
