Learning Technology and Programme Coordinator (12 month parental leave cover)

The opportunity

Are you a highly motivated and proactive individual with strong digital learning technology skills? This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading university and take the lead in shaping an online learning experience for International students. 

As part of our Academic Enterprise, UAL’s Study Abroad and Preparation Programme offers specialist education courses for the international market, including pre-degree courses and study abroad opportunities.   

In this role, you will help us elevate our virtual learning platforms and create an outstanding digital experience for our students and tutors. Working closely with academics and digital learning experts, you will develop our Moodle platform into a dynamic and student-friendly space, and help shape our online assessments.  

You will support the teaching team by analysing student feedback and data to continuously improve online learning, assessments, course planning and delivery. From troubleshooting and testing systems to advising colleagues on the most effective digital tools, you will be instrumental in maintaining a high-quality, responsive and creative digital learning environment. 

About you

Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience, you will bring strong knowledge of virtual learning environments and digital technologies, along with proven experience supporting online learning and assessment. You will need strong digital learning technology skills and experience of managing resources and student records effectively.  

A collaborative and people-focused attitude is essential, along with a flexible and proactive approach to problem solving. You will also need strong knowledge of the international student pipeline into FE and HE, including English Language development programmes.
