The opportunity

To assist in the management, customisation and promotion of the University institutional repository, UAL Research Online, in particular assisting with the addition of theses. In addition to manage the University's annual return to the Copyright Licencing Authority, providing advice and support to Library & Academic Support staff and the academic community. 

About you

Specialist   Knowledge/ Qualifications:

 Educated   to degree level

 Qualification  in librarianship is desirable but not essential

Knowledge   of scholarly communications and the role of open access repositories in the  HE environment

Knowledge   of the role of copyright licencing schemes operating in UK higher education

Relevant   Experience

Experience  of working in higher education or a library

Experience or  proven interest in scholarly communications

Experience or  proven interest in copyright compliance and licensing

Experience or  proven interest in e-learning and virtual learning environments (VLEs) such as Moodle
