The opportunity

This is a unique role, a one year maternity cover (starting in June 2018, negotiable) undertaking teaching, unit management, curriculum development and research within the subject specialism of MA Service Experience Design and Innovation. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the curriculum delivery of units on postgraduate courses as determined by the Course Leader and/or Programme Director. You will be expected to be active in Service Design, Service Experience and/or Design Innovation research and/or professional practice, and to contribute to the course curriculum through research, professional, and scholarly practice, bringing industry-based or research-based projects into the MA curriculum. You will be expected to engage in the wider research and educational community of the Design School at London College of Communication.  

About you

We’re looking for a lecturer and researcher who can motivate and excite our postgraduate students and who can apply research-based and/or industry project-based teaching to the MA Service Experience Design and Innovation. With experience of working within the service design industry and/or research and teaching experience at postgraduate level, you will be able to apply substantial knowledge and expertise in the areas of Service Design, Service Experience and Design Innovation in order to contribute to the academic and professional development of this area of expertise within the University.
