The opportunity

 

1 x 0.45 FTE - Central St Martins 

1 x 0.45 FTE - London College of Communication

As the postholder you will contribute to the development and delivery of high quality and customer-focused library services which support the academic activities of the University and its constituent Colleges.

You will support specified courses/programmes of study, participating in course committees, planning and delivering information literacy sessions. You will establish constructive working relationships with course teams, and promote access to resources, collections and services through effective academic liaison and information dissemination.

You will assist in the provision of enquiry services and develop learning materials which encourage the use of resources and services.

You will also represent your Library at departmental meetings.

The working hours are by agreement with the successful candidates, within our normal working pattern of Monday - Friday, with some 18.15pm shifts during vacation periods. There maybe be a requirement to work until 20:00pm on a rota basis during term time.

About you

With a degree in Library and Information Management or equivalent at Graduate or Postgraduate level, you will have demonstrable experience of working in library or customer service environment.
