The opportunity

We are seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic, and ambitious project administrator to provide administrative support for an exciting new multi-disciplinary collaborative research project: Transforming Collections: Reimagining Art, Nation and Heritage funded by the AHRC’s ‘Towards A National Collection’ programme. Based at the Decolonising Arts Institute and managed by the Projects and Partnerships Manager, the post holder will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Investigators (CIs), as well as the Project Partners, Collaborating Organisations, Management and Advisory Boards members, and other project stakeholders. Key roles will include coordinating and supporting project events and workshops including arranging travel, hospitality, room-booking, servicing meetings, maintaining the project’s web presence, assisting with publicity and liaising with project partners and other University departments.  

About you

You have a first degree and an understanding or practice-based research.  In particular, you will have relevant experience of research project management in the HEI-industry context, plus experience of monitoring budgets, organising events/meetings, workshops and promotional media. You will also have experience of writing management information reports and disseminating research findings to a wide audience.
