The opportunity

As part of UAL's commitment to provide a world class student experience we are launching The Student First – Registry and Course Support programme. At the heart of this will be a brand-new course support function, providing a first-class customer support service that will enhance our academic delivery and will place an increased focus on the student experience.

We are now seeking experienced customer service administrators to provide administrative and customer service support to a portfolio of courses. This will include supporting academic course teams, responding to student queries, providing information, managing course level communications, and maintaining accurate student records. Embedded into the heart of a designated portfolio of courses, these roles are both hands on and highly stimulating.

Joining this new function at its start, you will help contribute to the development of the service, whilst developing your own career path in a creative environment that welcomes your customer focused and relationship building skills.

As this is a student facing role, the requirement will be to work at least 4 days in the office.

About you

We value the diversity of experience our staff bring with them. Whilst experience of working in a Higher Education setting will be helpful, we positively welcome front line customer service experience from across a range of sectors. Key to this role will be your effective written and oral communication skills, the ability to plan and prioritise work and achieve outcomes, and your collaborative approach. Successful candidates will also be confident in the use of Microsoft applications. If you meet these requirements, the opportunities open to you at UAL are hard to beat.

Please note we will be running a live webinar soon. To register please contact StudentFirst@arts.ac.uk as this is a great opportunity to find out more about the team and the role.

Closing date: Friday, 27th May 2022 at 5pm.

We encourage early applications as interviews will be held prior to the advertised closing date. Interviews will be scheduled from weeks commencing 23 May, 6 June and 13 June.

If you have any queries about this role, please contact Emmy Beazley-Williams, Resourcing Adviser on 020 7514 6685.
