The opportunity

With a new 10-year strategy UAL is undergoing an exciting period of change, bringing unrivalled career opportunities. One of the key aims of the new strategy is to bring the benefits of a UAL education to anyone who could benefit from it. This includes growing our International Studies Programme and delivering courses through more innovative ways through a mix of online and blended learning. To support this, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly collaborative Learning Technologist.

Working across Moodle and other digital learning platforms such as Turnitin, Padlet and Miro, the Learning Technologist will work collaboratively with course teams and the Digital Learning team to develop online course materials that deliver an effective and online experience for students. In addition to creating online courses, the Learning Technologist will provide training sessions and provide guidance to users.

This is an exciting time to join us as we aspire to be a global leader in Digital Learning. You will become a key member of the university-wide network of Digital Learning and related staff, contributing to the development of Digital Learning practices across UAL.

About you

The successful candidate will offer a proven track record in the field of digital learning from a learning technologist perspective, developing online course materials and activities. You will have substantial working knowledge of Moodle and other digital learning platforms, such as Turnitin, Padlet & Miro. In addition to the technical expertise and digital fluency, the role requires strong communication and project management skills with the ability to enthuse and support colleagues whilst managing multiple projects effectively.
