The opportunity

Reporting to the Course Leader, this role is to deliver academic leadership and management of the BA Product and Industrial Design Course, including the maintenance and enhancement of standards and responsibility for the design, development and delivery of the curriculum

The responsibility is for the day-to-day management of the BA Product and Industrial Design Course including all areas of learning, teaching and assessment of students as well as resources allocated.

As a role relating to the continuing compliance of the course, this role also requires the appointee to be observing and implementing the policies and procedures of the University and the College.

About you

We are looking for someone with an understanding of the product design or related design discipline, with experience of project management that has enabled the delivery of projects effectively and efficiently. With experience of teaching and the operations of an undergraduate academic programme, you will have proven abilities in coordinating the multiple facets of organising and reporting of the performance of the course against academic benchmarks. Strong interpersonal skills form the basis of your approach, and utilising strong communication and networking skills, you will have a record of leading and developing projects within and across a range of teams engaged in the delivery of a programme of work.

You will have an agile mindset that enjoys the process of analysis and synthesis to develop and support the evolution of the course.
