The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated individual to lead the MSc/MA Computing in the Creative Industry course, provide proactive academic teaching, curriculum development and scholarships within the UAL Creative Computing Institute. If you are an interdisciplinary academic, experienced in academic leadership and course management and with skills in the creative computing field, this role offers a fantastic platform to develop your career.

About you

The post-holder will be expected to:

  • Hold an undergraduate degree in arts/design/creative computing and a postgraduate degree in a relevant field. A PhD in a relevant field is essential. You will also have demonstrable experience in teaching and assessment in Higher Education and understanding of the potential of the creative computing and arts research.
  • Work collaboratively within a course team, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.
  • Have a relevant and interesting track record of professional and or academic practice across teaching and research in Creative Computing.  
  • Have experience of creative practice at the intersection of art, design and computing will be an advantage in establishing your credibility to work within the UAL Creative Computing Institute.
