The opportunity

As part of Research, Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise (RKEE), Academic Enterprise incorporates multiple functions and subsidiaries, including UAL Short Courses, UAL Arts Temps Ltd, Academic Enterprise International and the UAL Awarding Body.  Successful delivery of programmes and projects is critical in supporting both continuous improvement and growth across all areas. 

As an Internal Business Consultant, you will: apply and further develop your skills in identifying and prioritising business issues and solutions; map current and future processes; support and lead systems reviews, enhancements and testing; and develop guidance materials and provide support to ensure successful transition to business operations. 

In a project management capacity, you will manage change initiatives and projects of varying degrees of complexity and in collaboration with colleagues from both professional services and academic departments. 

About you

The successful candidate will have a multi-disciplinary business analysis and project management background, with a proven track record of delivering and leading projects.  Potentially with experience working with an external business consultancy or in an internal consulting function, you will have an appetite for working at a university driven by creativity and diversity. 

The ability to engage with diverse groups of stakeholders at all levels to deliver agreed outcomes will be key, as will an aptitude for understanding complex business issues and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. 

This role will suit an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, sponsored by senior management in a high profile department.
