Alumni Relations Manager (Maternity Cover)

The opportunity

The Alumni Relations Manager will join a lively, engaged and supportive Development & Alumni Relations Team at UAL.  Working closely with the Head of Alumni Relations, you will lead on developing all aspects of alumni engagement, event management, marketing and communication and network development to help contribute to UAL's strategic priorities.  You will work to strengthen Alumni Networks and create new relationships with alumni to deepen links to UAL. 

The Alumni Relations Manager role requires excellent verbal and written skills as well as experience in data management in order to effectively deliver benefits to UAL's extensive global alumni network.

About you

Your profile should include:

• Experience of working in an Alumni Relations/Development team or equivalent and HE fundraising activities
• Sound understanding of alumni engagement opportunities 
• Knowledge of how alumni relations contributes to a wider university strategy 
• Proven track record of developing engagement opportunities for alumni that deliver benefits to the organisation and network
• Experience in creating and strengthening relationships with a variety of graduates and volunteers that directly benefit the university in terms of profile, student experience, employability, professional networks as well as financially
• Experience in project and event management
• Experience in data management
• Excellent writing skills with demonstrable experience of writing copy eg. social media, websites, blogs, presentations, newsletters and invitations.
