The opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Operations Manager is responsible for the design, implementation and management of all systems and processes that support the Awarding Body’s core business, from student registration through to certification. The role directly impacts the running of the Awarding Body as a whole and its success in the awarding of over 55,000 students every year.

They are responsible for matters relating to learner management systems, assessment systems and operational processes.

They possess expert knowledge of the Awarding Body sector’s regulations and current technologies to create innovative and appropriate solutions which benefit the Awarding Body and its customers.

About you

Profile should include:

  • Demonstrable experience of logistical planning and project management. Working to demanding timeframes and quality standards
  • Demonstrable experience of innovation and systems improvement within a dynamic business environment
  • Experience of working for an Awarding Organisation or within a regulated framework is desirable
  • Experience of working with a risk management system is desirable
  • Experience of configuring and using a Learner Management System (LMS) to manage the recording of student registrations, achievements and awards, or a similar database system
