The opportunity

This is a brand-new role within the UAL communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Associate Director Communications to shape the direction of our internal communications.

The post sits within the University’s recently formed Social Purpose Group. The group brings together communications, the new Social Purpose Lab, fundraising and UAL’s recently launched Storytelling Institute.  Together, the group will enable UAL to change and shape the world for the better.

The communications department is a collaborative, creative and inclusive team who understand the role of communications in championing the transformative power of creative education. We speak on behalf of the creative industries across all platforms and cultivate relationships with some of country’s leading experts and opinion formers.

About you

Your considerable experience in internal communications will help develop UAL’s existing student and staff engagement activity. You will play an instrumental role in bringing our community together around our strategy.

You will be able to lead campaigns which actively listen to and respond to our audiences, identifying innovative ways to ensure our six colleges and institutes stay connected.

You will support departments around UAL in delivering integrated campaigns which represent and promote the university.
