The opportunity

To support the Principal Investigator (PI) in the delivery of the ‘Bioinspired Design: Unforeseen Pathways to impact arising from AHRC funded Bioinspired Textiles Research’, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).  

The overall aim of this Funding project is to address unforeseen pathways to impact by sharing insights and findings arising from the AHRC funded project ‘Bio-Inspired Textiles’ with new design communities and non-academic product design audiences.  

Your duties and responsibilities will include: working with the PI to design, develop and deliver an online course based on the outcomes of the PIs previous research on Bio Inspired Design; support with organising and delivering events in support of the design and delivery of the online course content; support organisation and hosting of advisory and project partner meetings; and developing and implement the project communication strategy.  

About you

You will have working knowledge of the Bioinspired Textile Design Framework. You will furthermore have relevant experience in research project management, of designing and delivering online courses, and of using social media platforms.

You will also possess the ability to design and deliver online and in-person workshops.
