The opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Communications Executive who specialises in internal communications. The candidate will be a highly skilled, experienced and motivated individual who will support colleagues, both academic and support, at CSM and UAL to deliver timely, joined-up and comprehensive internal communications.  You will be responsible for creating, delivering and maintaining effective internal communications content through a variety of channels; telling compelling stories; assisting with the co-ordination and delivery of project work; as well as promoting college and UAL-wide strategic initiatives and change communications and helping to communicate student and staff activities, campaigns and events. 

Working in CSM’s small communications and editorial team, and with other college and university Communications colleagues, you will coordinate and deliver integrated communications about CSM’s internal and strategic activities across key channels, including management of the weekly student and staff e-newsletters and intranet stories. You will identify story opportunities and promote college and university-wide initiatives to maximise engagement from our students. You will have a special focus on the communication of the CSM college vision and the University agenda around social purpose which includes the Climate Action Plan and Anti-Racist strategy.

About you

The successful candidate will be an organised, enthusiastic and a hard-working team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will also be digitally savvy, with experience of web and social media communications, have good design software skills and have had previous experience in a similar role.
