The opportunity
This role, based within the online team will assist with the coordination and delivery of the scheduled online courses, customised short courses and special projects online.
We are recruiting for
- 2 Full time posts (35 hours/week). Although the role will work specified hours which may vary at different times in the year, the general working pattern for the full time role is as follows:
- 9:00 - 17:00 for 4 days/week and 11:00 - 19:00 1 day/week.
- 1 Part time post (20 hours/week). Although the role will work specified hours which may vary at different times in the year, the general working pattern for this part time role is as follows:
- 15:30 – 20:30 Monday to Thursday

This role will be required to work 3 Saturdays a term (which will be scheduled and agreed in advance).
This role will work remotely with regular days in the office.
About you
Your profile should include -
- A high level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience of administrative support in a busy customer focused environment.
- Experience of setting up and troubleshooting audio visual equipment.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Provides a positive and responsive student or customer service.
- Communicates effectively orally, in writing and/or using visual media.
- Plans, priorities and organises work to achieve objectives on time
- Works collaboratively in a team, across the university and with relevant professional groups
- Demonstrates diplomacy and empathy.
- Uses initiative and creativity to investigate and resolve day-to-day problems.
