The opportunity

The CCW Spaces project brings together multi-disciplinary functions, services and resources, for internal and external spaces development.  The project is dedicated to enhancing the student experience and provision of innovative solutions to problem solving including the implementation of student professional development spaces.

The Senior Space Supervisor is responsible for managing and developing CCW’s offsite space at Peckham Levels in Peckham. This newly acquired space (off campus) will deliver a model of professional practice for CCW students, as well as a programme of events.

The Senior Space Supervisor role works alongside the project manager to support the development of the space model. This will include identifying practical solutions and best practices, maintaining a working overview of all activities, supporting and working with users and relevant teams to ensure the space is well managed and fit for purpose.

The post holder will work with minimal day-to-day line management. The post holder will also contribute to the development and promotion of safe working practices and business continuity.

This role is not considered suitable for remote working and hours of work may vary.

About you

We’re looking for somebody with a track record of developing and managing learning activities and systems to optimise the use of space and maintain accurate records. You’ll be able to quickly adapt to changing priorities, organise your workload to achieve objectives in a timely manner and will work on your own initiative to identify and advise on ways to enhance space utilisation.

You’ll be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. In addition you’ll be confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders, as well as working with the relevant support teams.

Previous experience of working within a change, flexible, front-facing, busy environment is essential, together with a good knowledge of IT software packages and administrative processes.  Experience working within a Higher Education institution would be advantageous but not essential.

Interviews are scheduled to take place on 15/03/2023.
